To keep your balaclava looking and feeling its best, we'd recommend avoiding the washing machine where possible. Instead, hang it in the bathroom during a hot shower — the steam helps freshen it up and release any odours. You can also pop it in a sealed bag in the freezer for a few hours, which works brilliantly thanks to the natural anti-bacterial properties of the cashmere and wool blend.
If you do need to wash it, use a gentle 30°C cycle or hand wash with care.
